The Franklin is an exhibition and project space located at the backyard of home Edra Soto in East Garfield Park, Chicago. Soto’s events showcase local, national and international artists. Franklin welcomes proposals from artists, curators, and designers. The exhibition space started as a concept project for an exhibition titled, LIVING by Example (Living taken from Martha Stewart’s magazine’s name.) With this project, Franklin expresses our admiration for artist initiatives by taking the DIY factor to a greater level in the hopes of making a significant contribution to the existing Chicago artist-run gallery community.
