Magic the Gallery is a house gallery in Austin, TX, founded and curated by two female artists and Boston-transplants, Courtney Allen and Julia Ham. Intended as an alternative space for local artists to play, Magic the Gallery is a place for the purgatory; a platform and safe house for work unfinished, overworked, guarded, forgotten, or just needs more airtime. Magic the Gallery produces a show every 6 months, 4 shows to-date, featuring a total of 33 artists.
